Six weeks in Hoi An, with your people

The Edventures Hoi An Hub is our own season: a small cohort of worldschooling families living nearby and learning together in one of Vietnam's most beautiful towns. Children spend balanced days with real makers and mentors. Parents work, connect, and remember what community feels like.

What a season is

A balanced day, six weeks deep

Children learn across a balanced day: structured work, hands-on projects with local makers, nature, art, body practice, and free play. Leather-working one week; sewing, music, or code the next. Cohorts are kept small so every child is looked after and every parent feels at home.

Home base is a family-friendly resort in Hoi An with a pool, gardens, shaded workspaces, and room to roam, minutes from the old town, the river, and the beach. Accommodation is booked separately, so your family chooses what fits, and we share recommended places to stay once you are on the list.

A hub day

What a season day looks like

We ran our own family programming this March and watched the rhythm work: learning with makers, long shared lunches, new friendships. The Hoi An seasons are the next iteration.

  1. 9:00

Arrival and morning movement on the grass. Tai chi, stretching, still-waking-up children welcome.

Parents: Coffee, then deep work at the co-work tables.

  2. 9:45

Circle. What are we making today, and who is helping?

  3. 10:00

Project block with a real maker: leather-working one week, sewing, music, or code the next.

Parents: Uninterrupted focus time. This is your longest block.

  4. 12:30

Lunch together at one long table. Fresh, local, unhurried.

Parents: Parents join. This is where the week's friendships form.

  5. 13:30

Quiet hour. Reading, sketching, rest. Downtime is part of the design.

  6. 14:30

Water time and free play. The pool, the garden, a card game in the shade.

Parents: Wrap up work, or just come watch.

  7. 16:00

Pickup. Or nobody leaves, and it becomes dinner plans.

Proof, not promise

The rhythm the seasons are built on

Real moments from the family programming we ran in March 2026: makers, mentors, field trips, and unhurried work. The Hoi An seasons take this rhythm and give it six weeks.
