Our approach

How worldschooling can shape a childhood.

Worldschooling gives children the world as their classroom. Edventures shapes the time they spend in it. The children who come through it treat each day as a chance to learn, contribute, and grow alongside the people around them.

Confident, innovative, flexible thinkers, and global citizens.

The four-word headline of who we hope Edventures children grow into. Every program decision is shaped by this longer picture.

How a day works

Six ideas that shape every Edventures hub day, and why.

1

The world is the classroom.

Markets, workshops, working farms, beaches. Every place a chance to learn and contribute.

2

Whole child: mind, body, place, nature.

Movement, creativity, and meaningful time in nature alongside structured learning. None of these are extras.

3

Project-based work alongside structured foundations.

Hands-on inquiry produces something concrete. Reading, math, and language keep their sequential time. Both modes are first-class.

4

Real-world teachers, met where they are.

Chess, drama, art, sewing, jujitsu, languages. Sometimes teachers come to us; often we go to them. Children learn from people whose actual work is the thing being taught.

5

Tech taught with intention, screens off by default.

Technology, entrepreneurship, and AI fluency, alongside most of the day off-screen. Screens come in when they help, then go away again.

6

Agency, one mode among several.

Comfortable noticing what's missing and starting something. Equally comfortable with quiet, nature, art, friendship, and rest.
